Hidcote     A Grasshopper Warbler this afternoon in the sheep field at Hidcote Manor NT. (Mark Hobson).

Saul Warth     Early morning 35 Shelducks, 15 Bar-tailed Godwits, a Whimbrel, nine Curlews, two Oystercatchers, a Redshank, ten Dunlins, two Little Egrets, a female Wheatear went straight through, perching once, three Swallows, 200+ Sand Martins, a Whitethroat, a male Blackcap and a Chiffchaff. Coombe Hill Meadows     Early this afternoon three Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Peregrine, two Ravens, two Great White Egrets, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers, three Avocets, a Redshank, 10+ Lapwings, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Yellow Wagtails, two Greenfinches, a Redstart heard, 12 Sedge Warblers and eight Whitethroats. Ashleworth & Hasfield Hams     Between 11:30am and 2:15pm at least five singing Whitethroats in roadside hedgerows between Meerend Thicket and Stank Lane.  Along Stank Lane at least another five Whitethroats, two Lesser Whitethroats, at least two Redstarts. Also Blackcaps, Chiffchaffs and Skylarks all singing, a Buzzard and a Red Kite.  (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Barnsley Warren     From the Welsh Way to the pump house, six Red Kites and four Buzzards up together, two pairs of Ravens, a Green Woodpecker, 6+ singing Redstarts, three Blackcaps, a Yellowhammer, a Coal Tit and a Stoat. Also around the area many Orange Tip butterflies, mostly female. (Steve Brown).

Cleeve Hill     A Cuckoo, a Redstart and a Grey Partridge at the Bill Smyllie butterfly reserve this morning. (Jeremy Holland).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook early morning a Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail and a Whitethroat. (Ken Hurcombe).

Minsterworth     A Redstart opposite the Severn Bore pub this morning. (Jeremy Squire).

Walmore Common     A Yellow Wagtail, three Lapwings and a pair of Shelduck this morning. (Dan Watson).

Awre     A Lesser Whitethroat this morning. (Dan Watson).

WWT Slimbridge     The immature SPOONBILL, a male and female Wheatear and three Greenshanks on the Tack Piece and a Marsh Harrier flew past the Estuary Tower headed upriver and a Great White Egret. (Caroline Quinn).

Aylburton     From the garden this morning a Buzzard mobbed by three Carrion Crows, eight House Martins with birds having returned to nests on the house and a neighbouring house, Woodpigeons nesting, two Swallows and a male Chaffinch singing. On a walk to the River Severn and back a Red Kite, two Jays, two Moorhens, ten Shelducks, six Curlews, five Skylarks, three Linnets, a Reed Warbler and a Buzzard mobbed by a Jackdaw. (John Meadows).

Stanley Downton     This morning eight Swallows, two House Martins, at least six Whitethroats and good numbers of singing Chiffchaffs. (Paul Sutton).
