WWT Slimbridge     A WOOD SANDPIPER on the Tack Piece today, until 4:20pm at least. A Spotted Redshank on the Top New Piece this morning and a GLOSSY IBIS until 7:45am when it flew off N. (Martin McGill). A Common Tern briefly on South Lake this morning before flying off high and lost to view. (Paul Masters). Two SPOONBILLS in flight over the entrance road fields at 7:45am. (Tan Grigg). One was later on the Tack Piece. (Dot Jones). A Whimbrel from Zeiss hide at 10:25am. (Phil Pope).

Frampton      On the canal and flashes at Splatt Bridge early morning a GLOSSY IBIS, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, two Common Cranes over, a Whimbrel heard, 4+ Redshanks, three Swallows, eight Sand Martins, three Cetti’s Warblers, two Whitethroats, three Reed Warblers, a Sedge Warbler, six Blackcaps and four Chiffchaffs. Around the pools two Hobbies, a Common Tern, a Cuckoo, three Lesser Whitethroats, 12 Whitethroats, a Garden Warbler, a Willow Warbler, 32 Chiffchaffs, 34 Blackcaps, a Yellowhammer, five Cetti’s Warblers, two Ravens and 63 Tufted Ducks. Saul Warth     Five Whimbrels briefly dropped down into Saul Warth at dawn today before heading inland. (Steve Pullen). One still there at 11am. (Nigel Young).

Crickley Hill area     A Red Kite, a Kestrel, a Marsh Tit, a Garden Warbler, three Whitethroats, two Nuthatches, three Tree Pipits and a pair of Bullfinches. Nearby, a family of at least four Ravens in a tall pine at Shurdington. (Andy Jayne).

Elmore Court    Birds seen from the public footpath through the rewilding area this morning included two Red Kites over, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, a pair of Stonechats, 5+ singing Skylarks, nine Linnets, four Whitethroats, four Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler, and two Lapwings and two Little Egrets on the scrapes. Chedworth     On the airfield tonight a Whinchat and four Wheatears (Duncan Dine).

Stanley Downton     This morning a Whitethroat, a Linnet, a Treecreeper, a Goldcrest, a Goldfinch, a Buzzard, a Grey Wagtail, a Pied Wagtail, Swallow numbers increasing, many Chiffchaffs and three Greylags landed in a field near the sewage works. (Paul Sutton).
