Hardwicke     A QUAIL calling from the tanker bay opposite the promenade N of the Pilot Inn at 2:30am at a distance then moving NE. SO 79538 13782. (Julian Long).

WWT Slimbridge     Two BLACK TERNS over the Rushy heading S at 9:54am. (Tim McGrath). Two Little Ringed Plovers and two Cattle Egrets on South Lake. (Dot Jones). The GLOSSY IBIS from Zeiss hide. From Middle Point three BLACK TERNS lingering and feeding over the Severn at closing time at 5pm. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     Around the pools this evening a BLACK TERN, four ARCTIC TERNS, 12 Common Terns, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Hobby and a Red Kite. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, two Greylags including a pair with four goslings, two Shelducks, 30 Mallards, a Great White Egret, a Grey Heron, a pair of Oystercatchers with three chicks, 1+ Avocet, ten Lapwing plus four chicks, a Little Ringed Plover, two Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper, two Black-headed Gulls, a Swallow, ten House Martins, and singing Skylark, Redstart, Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiffchaff and Reed Bunting and ten Jackdaws. (Mike Smart).

Cotswold Water Park East    At Whelford Pools this morning a Hobby, two Buzzards, a Kestrel and three Red Crested Pochards. Also three Hairy Dragonflies and five Four-spotted Chasers. (Paul Clark).

Forest of Dean     Today at Cannop Upper Pond, a Mallard with seven ducklings, a Grey Wagtail, five Tufted Ducks and a Jay. Also a Brimstone and a Red Admiral. (Chris Keeling).

Cleeve Hill    Two pairs of Stonechats and a Redstart at Wontley Farm and a Red Kite and a Kestrel at Belas Knap this morning. (Keith White).
