Stroud At Fromebanks NR an adult Dipper and a juvenile this morning. Also 3+ Grey Wagtails, two male Blackcaps singing, a Song Thrush, two Swifts and a Muntjac. (Mike Davis).
Coombe Hill Meadows This morning 3+ Buzzards, 3+ Cuckoos, two Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, a Redshank, ten Lapwings including four juveniles, a Yellow Wagtail, 6+ Reed Buntings, three Sedge Warblers, a Chiffchaff, 5+ Redstarts, 6+ Lesser Whitethroats, four Whitethroats, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers and four Swallow. (Paul Clark). On the flashes Mute Swan, Greylags and a Red Kite seen. Dragonflies included Four-spotted Chaser, Broad-bodied Chaser and Black-tailed Skimmer. At the road junction at Coombe End 30 House Martins and a Swallow. (Keith White).
Minsterworth Ham A Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Peregrine, four Curlews, five Black-headed Gulls, ten Herring Gulls and a Lesser Black-backed Gull, a Cuckoo, a Redstart, two Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs and two Ravens. (Mike Smart & Juliet Bailey).
Rodborough Common This morning four Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps heard, two Swifts, two Meadow Pipits, four Skylarks, two Carrion Crows, two Jays, three Stonechat (1m, 1f, 1 juv), a Greenfinch and two Dunnocks. (Mil Petkovic).
