WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT showing on and off in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. Also 20 Ringed Plovers, six Grey Plovers, six Dunlins and four Sanderlings on the mudflats. Two SPOONBILLS on the Top New Piece. 102 Avocets on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Halmore     A Hobby in an oak tree late this evening. (Chris Newton).

Saul junction     This morning two Grey Wagtails, one juvenile, eight Swallows, a Great Crested Grebe family, two adults and three juveniles and two nesting House Sparrows. (Alan Hooper).

Maisemore     This afternoon birds included two Kingfishers, four Sand Martins, two Swallows, 19 Mallards, four Moorhens, a Cormorant, two Chiffchaffs, three Blackcaps, a Song Thrush, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Grey Herons, a Little Egret, two Canada Geese and six Mute Swans. (John Fletcher).
