WWT Slimbridge      The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT showing on and off in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. Also a SHORT-EARED OWL showed well this morning. Two SPOONBILLS from Zeiss hide and three Great White Egrets on the Tack Piece. 112+ Avocets on South Lake. (Tim Jukes/Dot Jones/Slimbridge Sightings).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, 4+ Grey Heron, 2+ Cuckoos, 3+ Buzzards, six Reed Buntings, ten Long-tailed Tits, four Sedge Warblers, 6+ Chiffchaffs, two House Martins and 6+ Redstarts today. (Paul Clark).

Longney     Three Common Cranes flew over today. (Richard Smart).

Walmore Common     A pair of Mute Swans, 27 Mallards, two pairs of Gadwalls, a Grey Heron, two pairs of Yellow Wagtails, four Skylarks, two Reed Warblers, a Sedge Warbler and two Reed Bunting. (Mike Smart).

Ashleworth Ham     Two Whitethroats, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, four Chaffinches, two Stock Doves, two Swallows, a Green Woodpecker, four Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, a Song Thrush, 37 Mallards, a Moorhen, 14 Greylags with ten goslings and two Grey Herons today. (John Fletcher).
