Aylburton Warth/Guscar Rocks     This morning a pale-phase POMARINE SKUA sat distantly on the river before flying in close then heading upstream towards Sharpness. Also birds included 30 Canada Geese, 18 Shelducks, seven Mallards, a Grey Heron, a Buzzard, three Oystercatchers, 12 Ringed Plovers, 40 Dunlins, nine Curlews, five Redshanks, four Reed Warblers and two Reed Buntings. Forest of Dean     Five Ravens, three Hawfinches and 26 Crossbills at Hope Wood, Longhope today. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton     Around the pools a Tawny Owl dozing in the sun, a Marsh Harrier, a Peregrine, a Hobby, 30+ Swifts, 15+ Swallows, 10+ House Martins, two Sand Martins, a Garden Warbler, five Whitethroats, 19 Chiffchaffs, 19 Blackcaps, 15+ Reed Warblers, two Cetti’s Warblers, six Common Terns, two Kingfishers, two Oystercatchers and a Cuckoo. WWT Slimbridge     Two SPOONBILLS on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. A breeding plumage Cattle Egret on the Rushy. Two Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake. (Roberta Goodall/Slimbridge Sightings/Martin Price).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds this morning three Cuckoos, a Hobby, a Red Kite, a Great White Egret, many Reed Warblers and a Kingfisher. (Mike Davis).

Sharpness     This morning a Common Tern, a Whimbrel, a Curlew, 15 Shelducks, two Oystercatchers, a Grey Wagtail, five House Martins, a Swallow, two Mute Swans and a Grey Heron. (Oliver Paisey).
