Saul Warth A Short-eared Owl at 6:30am between Hock Ditch and Hock Cliff. A Mandarin flew from Hock Ditch towards Dunstalls Farm at 6:15am. On the river at high tide 40 Shelducks and four ducklings, 18 Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, three Grey Plovers, 30 Dunlins, 11 Ringed Plovers, six Sanderlings and three Oystercatchers. Frampton At the pools 50+ Swifts, two pairs of Great Crested Grebes with young, a Spotted Flycatcher, 80+ Sand Martins with a few House Martins and Swallows, an Oystercatcher feeding young, four breeding plumage Cattle Egrets, two Little Egrets and two Grey Heron juveniles nearly ready to fly.
