WWT Slimbridge The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. Also a Grasshopper Warbler reeling briefly. (Slimbridge Sightings). Around the grounds today a male Marsh Harrier, a Red Kite, a Cattle Egret, four Mediterranean Gulls (1 first-summer, 3 3cy) and a Great White Egret. (Craig Brookes).
Saul Warth At high tide 52 Shelducks, a Grey Heron, 14 Oystercatchers, five Ringed Plovers, three Dunlins, ten Curlews, a male Kestrel, a Marsh Harrier, two Swallows, 3+ Skylarks, two Whitethroats and four Linnets. (MK).

Frampton At Court Lake this morning two Spotted Flycatchers, a Cuckoo calling regularly, a Common Tern, Reed Warblers, Chiffchaffs and a family of five Great Crested Grebes. (Mike Davis). From Splatt Bridge early morning two Cuckoos calling, two Common Cranes over, a Buzzard being harassed by Carrion Crows. Also eight Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, two Cetti’s Warblers, four Whitethroats and five Reed Buntings in the canal side reedbeds. (Steve Pullen).
Saul At Saul junction this morning two adult Greylags and two goslings, two adult Great Crested Grebes with a chick, a Moorhen with two chicks, two adult Mute Swans and eight cygnets, 12 Swallows, two House Martins, two Reed Warblers and several singing Cetti’s Warbler with two seen. Ashleworth Ham A ringing session caught 36 birds including a Redstart, four Sedge Warblers, ten Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, three Goldfinches and a juvenile Reed Bunting. Around the reserve four Greylags, 20 Mallards, a Great White Egret, a Grey Heron, two Red Kites, a Peregrine, a Curlew, a Cuckoo, five Skylarks, three Redstarts, three Sedge Warblers, five Whitethroats, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Chiffchaffs and five Reed Buntings.
