WWT Slimbridge A LITTLE TERN off of Middle Point at 1pm for 40 minutes only on and off. The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. (Ian Ralphs). A SPOONBILL again from Zeiss hide. Distantly from the Estuary Tower this morning 40 Ringed Plovers, 39 Sanderlings, 50 Dunlins, ten Curlews and a Whimbrel. (Slimbridge Sightings).
Frampton A BLACK REDSTART briefly in the churchyard at 7am, but not further sign by 10am or in another search at lunchtime. (Steve Pullen). At Splatt Bridge early morning 23 Barnacle Geese and the Ross’s Goose flew S, three Mandarins flew N, a Common Tern, a Cuckoo calling, six Swallows, three Swifts, five House Martins, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Reed Warblers and a family of 6+ Greenfinches.
