Hasfield Ham     This afternoon about half a mile down the lane a QUAIL flushed from the side of the track which flew to a hay field on the right. Also a Redstart, plenty of Whitethroats , Reed Buntings, Goldfinches, family parties of Blue Tits, Long-tailed Tits, Great Tits, Bullfinches and a pair of Curlews. (Steve Rickard).

WWT Slimbridge      The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. Also four juvenile Kingfishers behind the hut. The SPOONBILL still from Zeiss hide and six Cattle Egrets. (Dot Jones/Tim Jukes/Huw Morgan).

Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens two Stonechats, four Willow Warblers, a Sparrowhawk, eight Swifts, a Whitethroat and four Linnets. At Nagshead a pair of Pied Flycatchers, two Garden Warblers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, 3+ Nuthatches, a Treecreeper and Siskins. (Oliver Paisey). A Red Kite over lower Mitcheldean at 7:05 this morning. (Chris Keeling).

Berkeley shore     Two Egyptian Geese flew S, three Reed Warblers, a Reed Bunting, a Meadow Pipit, 5+ Skylarks, 19+ Canada Geese, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, seven Linnets, a Whitethroat and 12 Stock Doves. (Oliver Paisey).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge this morning a Common Tern, a Cuckoo, two Cetti’s Warblers and two Bullfinches. At the sailing lake a Common Tern, 20+ Swifts, a Cetti’s Warbler and a pair of Great Crested Grebes with a juvenile. (MK).

Cleeve Hill     A Red Kite, a Buzzard, Meadow Pipits, Linnet and Skylarks today. (Alan McIlquham).
