Hasfield Ham     Two QUAIL flushed half way down Stank Lane today. Also six Oystercatchers and three Common Sandpipers feeding on the river and three Cuckoos. (Robin Lewis).

WWT Slimbridge    The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. (Tom Mabbett). A 2cy Mediterranean Gull on the Rushy/South Lake. The SPOONBILL still from Zeiss hide. (Dot Jones/Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth     At high tide 31 Shelducks including seven ducklings, 28 Mallards, three Grey Herons, a Little Egret, 21 Avocets, two Bar-tailed Godwits, two Whimbrels, 20 Curlews, ten Oystercatchers, a Cuckoo, a Kestrel, ten Goldfinches, six Whitethroats, 20 Swallows and two Mistle Thrushes. (MK).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge this morning a Cuckoo calling, lots of Reed Warblers and Reed Buntings, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Blackcap, a few Chiffchaffs, a Kingfisher on the canal and a male Roe Deer. (Jon Dexter).

Bentham     Birds today included a Chaffinch, five Song Thrushes, two Chiffchaffs, four Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, two Greenfinches, a Stock Dove, three Linnets, a Blackcap, two Green Woodpeckers and two Swallows. On the small lake two Little Grebes, two Mute Swans, two Tufted Ducks, four Mallards, ten Coots with young and a singing Cetti’s Warbler, a first for the site. (John Casswell).

Cheltenham     A Ring-necked Parakeet in a private garden near the racecourse today. (Paul Watkins).

Winchcombe     Garden birds today included, two Song Thrushes, Goldfinches, two Coal Tits, a female Great Spotted Woodpecker and a male Greenfinch. (Gill Worthington).
