Saul Warth     At 5:45am, tide still very low not yet covering the bank, a Barn Owl hunting briefly (2nd day), two Bar-tailed Godwits, two Avocets, two Whimbrels, 17 Curlews, 12 Oystercatchers, 39 Shelducks plus 17 ducklings, 19 Stock Doves, a female Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, five Swallows and four Skylarks. WWT Slimbridge    The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. (Alan Boddington).

Forest of Dean     In the Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill area a Willow Warbler, a Wood Warbler, a Garden Warbler, three Stonechats (1 juv), a Buzzard and two Linnets. At Nagshead three Redstarts, two Blackcaps, two Garden Warblers and a juvenile Nuthatch. At Cannop Ponds 30+ mixed House Martins and Sand Martins, eight Mandarins (6 juvs) and a Raven. (Paul Clark).

Leighterton     Two Yellow Wagtails this morning. (Paul Rich).

Newnham-on-Severn     A Ring-necked Parakeet at The Green this morning. (Martin Allan per Dan Watson).

Maisemore     Birds today included four Reed Buntings (2 juvs), five Swallows, four Sand Martins, seven Chiffchaffs, three Blackcaps, two Grey Wagtails, four Chaffinches, a Song Thrush, 17 Jackdaws, 14 Mallards, including five ducklings, three Moorhens and a Buzzard. (John Fletcher).

Wotton-Under-Edge     A Barnacle Goose (blue leg ring BOO) back at Cotswold Edge Golf Club (ST 77496 95343) for its 4th summer. Also two Swifts. (Mike Tranter).
