Forest of Dean     In the Crabtree Hill area, two Wood Warblers, a Garden Warbler, two Whitethroats, a Tree Pipit, a Spotted Flycatcher, 5+ Stonechats, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, Willow Warblers, 22+ Crossbills, 10+ Siskins and 6+ Wood Whites. (Mark Coller). At Woorgreens a Willow Warbler, a Blackcap, a Linnet, a Buzzard, a Stonechat, a Wren, a Tree Pipit, a Mandarin and a Downy Emerald dragonfly. At Nagshead a Redstart, a Garden Warbler and a Pied Wagtail. (Eden Tanner).

WWT Slimbridge    The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut today. The SPOONBILL still from Zeiss hide. (Roy Kinchin/Warren Gill).

Saul Warth     Early morning at high tide 40 Shelducks and 17, 3 and 7 ducklings, the Ross’s Goose flew S with two Barnacle Geese, 15 Oystercatchers, two Bar-tailed Godwits, 22 Curlews, two Avocets, 13 Dunlins, seven Sanderlings, a male Marsh Harrier hunting at 7am, 22 Stock Doves and two House Martins. Shipton Oliffe     Two Swifts with c15 House Martins, four Swallows, a Green Woodpecker, two Red Kites, a Buzzard, a pair of Linnets, a Yellowhammer and a Whitethroat. (Steve Brown).

Winchcombe     Garden birds today included two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, with the female feeding a juvenile, male and female Bullfinch, a Greenfinch, a Song Thrush and two Swifts overhead. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).
