Gloucester     An adult BLACK REDSTART with a newly fledged juvenile in Eastgate Street at the Rushton Dog Rescue charity shop, over the last three days. This is the first breeding record for Gloucestershire. (Paula Dicks/Hazel Mantle).

WWT Slimbridge    The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut at 8:45am. A SPOONBILL on the river and a Spotted Redshank on South Lake. (Roberta Goodall/John Budd). A Green Sandpiper from Robbie Garnett hide. (Tom Blay).

Arlingham     A BLUETHROAT recorded singing tonight on Merlin app. (Megan Thornbury).

Northleach     A female Goshawk near Northleach today with prey. (Richard Tyler).

Forest of Dean     Between Lower Lydney and Kearne Bridge this afternoon a female Mandarin with four ducklings, ten Swifts, 16 Swallows, 15 Canada Geese, six Mute Swans, also Mallards, Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers and Goldcrests among commoner species. (Mark Makin).

Halmore     In the woods a Red Kite over high, a hunting Kestrel, three Buzzards, a family of Mistle Thrushes in a cherry tree, a Garden Warbler, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Bullfinch, c12 Spotted Flycatchers and many Chiffchaffs and juvenile Goldfinches, also large emergences of Marbled Whites and Ringlets, several Small Skippers, a Red Admiral and a Small Tortoiseshell.
