WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds at Middle Point from the Shepherds Hut. The SPOONBILL from Middle Point this morning. On South Lake 103 Avocets, two Spotted Redshanks, a Little Ringed Plover, a WOOD SANDPIPER and a Green Sandpiper. (Jeremy Holland/Dot Jones/Oliver Paisey/Helen Bojaniwska).

Forest of Dean     At Mallards Pike at 3pm, a Nightjar heard churring, then flew across the path and into the woodland. (Rosy Heywood & Danny Sturgeon). 23 Crossbills over Wenchford earlier this morning. (Dan Watson).

Hasfield Ham     Two QUAIL seen well at the river end of Stank Lane early morning, where the road becomes dirt track, but not calling. (Robin Lewis).

Saul     A Common Tern on Saul ponds early morning then another fishing on the canal between Fretherne and Sandfield bridges, then four flew over towards Saul. (Roberta Goodall).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge this morning a Common Tern, two Kingfishers, two female Mandarins, two Jays and a Hobby chasing fledgling Swallows by the bridge, until driven away by 15 Swallows. (Steve Pullen).

Nailsworth     Three Swifts over the town centre this evening. (Paul Sadley).

Daneway Banks     A Large Blue butterfly this morning. (Duncan Dine).
