Standish This afternoon four Yellow Wagtails, six Yellowhammers, a Little Owl heard, two Buzzards, 5+ Skylarks, eight Linnets, three Whitethroats and a Roe Deer. (Steve Pullen).
Frampton pools Two Cattle Egrets, nine Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, eight Great Crested Grebes and nine young, 30+ Swifts, 50+ Sand Martins, four Common Terns, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Hobby and an adult Yellow-legged Gull today. (Nick Goatman).
Naunton At Lower Harford a Buzzard, a Kestrel, a Grey Heron, four Ravens, a Green Woodpecker, four Stock Doves and a Nuthatch. Butterflies included a Comma, a Large Skipper, a Ringlet, numerous Large Whites and Meadow Browns and a mass of Green-veined Whites on wet mud. Also a Black-tailed Skimmer, many Beautiful Demoiselles, a few blue Damselfly sp and many tiny Toads around the ford. (Steve Brown).
