Saul Warth    A drake COMMON SCOTER flew in from the N at 8:15am over the top of Hock Sluice and landed on the river N of Tites Point. Also at high tide a Common Tern, 600+ Black-headed Gulls, 80 Shelducks including 20 ducklings, 30 Avocets, 30+ Curlews, a Redshank, 14 Oystercatchers, a male Marsh Harrier, a male Kestrel, two Skylarks and seven Stock Doves. Sharpness     The drake COMMON SCOTER flew S past SARA at 9:25am. (Oliver Paisey).

WWT Slimbridge     A female Garganey on the Rushy this morning and another on South Lake. (Warren Gill). Also on South Lake two Spotted Redshanks and 156 Avocets. On the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide an adult WOOD SANDPIPER and an eclipse drake Garganey. Two Wheatears at Middle Point. (Dot Jones).

Highnam Woods     A singing Firecrest, a Spotted Flycatcher seen and nearby a Yellow Wagtail by Two Mile Lane. Also several Silver-washed Fritillaries. (Andy Jayne).

Leckhampton     At St Peter’s Church two Swifts, a Stock Dove, a singing Greenfinch and c50 Cinnabar Moth caterpillars. Near the Pilley Bridge reserve a Buzzard, two Ravens, a Jay and six House Martins. (Steve Brown).

Forest of Dean     From 8:45pm 10+ Swifts circling high above Forge Hill, Lydbrook. Also c6 Scarlet Tiger moths. (Chris Sullivan).
