WWT Slimbridge     Six BEARDED TITS (1m, 1f, 4 juvs) in the reeds in front of the Shepherd’s Hut from 9:20am until 10:10am at least. (George Collett et al). Also the male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still in the reedbeds but elusive and quiet, a female Marsh Harrier and a Bar-tailed Godwit on the river. Six Green Sandpipers on the Tack Piece and a Hummingbird Hawkmoth in the Peng garden. (MK). 12 Black-tailed Godwits, five Ruff and two Spotted Redshanks on South Lake. (Paul Clark).

Gloucester     A BLACK REDSTART at Gloucester train station at 2:25pm. It was on the tracks, then on the platform, then on the station roof. (Rob Chapman).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge early morning, a Grey Wagtail, two Kingfishers, 30+ Swallows, 15+ House Martins, a Barnacle Goose on the canal, five juvenile Pied Wagtails and a pair of Reed Warblers with four newly fledged young. (Steve Pullen).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead from Campbell hide birds coming in to drink included at least seven Song Thrushes, a female Blackcap, male and female Siskin, a Nuthatch, a female Hawfinch, a male Great Spotted Woodpecker, Coal Tits, a Marsh Tit, Great Tits, Blue Tits, a Treecreeper and fledgling Robins. Hawling    This evening a Chiffchaff, a Yellowhammer, a young Goldfinch, a Whitethroat and a Garden Warbler. (Alan McIlquham).
