WWT Slimbridge     Two WOOD SANDPIPERS and a Little Ringed Plover from Zeiss hide. Two Spotted Redshanks on South Lake. (Dot Jones). The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT reported still in the reedbeds at Middle Point.

Saul Warth     Early morning three Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, a Red Kite, a juvenile Kestrel, 100 Avocets, a Whimbrel, 68 Curlews, two Dunlins, 12 Oystercatchers, a first-summer Mediterranean Gull, an adult Common Gull, eight Swallows, ten Pied Wagtails, a Whitethroat, two Chiffchaffs and two Reed Warblers. Tresham     This evening a QUAIL again. (Paul Rich).

Forest of Dean     At Staple Edge 30+ Crossbills feeding on hemlock, 16 Tree Pipits, a Siskin, several Willow Warblers, a Chiffchaff, three Chaffinches and a Goldcrest. (Rob Husbands).

Nailsworth     This afternoon a small southerly movement of 60+ Swifts this afternoon. Garden birds included a Sparrowhawk, a Willow Warbler and a juvenile Marsh Tit. (Terry Grant).

Bourton-on-the-Water     At the north pits an adult and a juvenile or first year Oystercatcher. Also a Lapwing, unusual here. (Andy Lewis).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 157 Mallards, 12 Teal, three Lapwings, four Green Sandpipers, six Coots, 20 Moorhens, four Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, Reed Warblers, Sedge Warblers and Reed Buntings still feeding young, a juvenile Redstart and two Yellow Wagtails. A Willow Emerald damselfly on the canal. (Ian Ralphs).

Ashleworth Ham     Two Greylags, 80 Mallards, a Grey Heron, a Peregrine, five Skylarks, a Sedge Warbler, a Blackcap, two Whitethroats, five Goldfinches and two Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart/Shaun Curtis).
