Saul Warth     At high tide at 12:30pm 85 Avocets, 61 Curlews, seven Oystercatchers, 36 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, four Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Swallow and a Chiffchaff. (MK).

Frampton     At Court Lake the Ross’s Goose, six Great Crested Grebes (2 juv), two Common Terns, a Cattle Egret, a Grey Heron, a Cormorant, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Bullfinches and 3+ Willow Warblers. At the Sailing Lake 5+ Sedge Warblers, 10+ Reed Warblers (6+ juvs), two Common Terns and 10+ Emperor Dragonflies. (Paul Clark). The adult Yellow-legged Gull was on the Sailing Lake early morning. Ashleworth Ham     A CEF ringing session caught 82 birds including three Redstarts, three Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler, 23 Whitethroats, two Lesser Whitethroats, four Blackcaps, 30 Goldfinches, three Linnets and three Reed Buntings. Other birds on the reserve and nearby ten Mallards, a Peregrine in flight, carrying prey, ten Skylarks and a Raven. WWT Slimbridge     Prior to closing this morning due to a burst water main from Zeiss hide the BITTERN again, the SPOONBILL, 30+ Dunlins and a Common Tern. (Mike Davis).
