Frampton     The moulting adult WHITE-WINGED BLACK TERN on the sailing lake all day until 8:50pm at least. (Mike Davis/Mark Coller/Nick Goatman et al). Also today a small flock of Crossbills (Mark Coller/Andy Jayne), the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 5+ Common Terns, two adult Common Gulls and two Ravens. This evening eight Little Egrets, two Lesser Whitethroats, three Whitethroats, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Green Woodpecker and 4+ Spotted Flycatchers. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     Early morning at high tide 100 Curlews, 40 Avocets, six Oystercatchers, four Redshanks, two summer-plumaged Turnstones, 19 Dunlins, 27 Shelducks, 600+ Black-headed Gulls, four Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, two Kestrels, ten Swallows, a Sand Martin, two Yellow Wagtails, four Pied Wagtails, a Whitethroat, a Chiffchaff, ten Mistle Thrushes and two Ravens. WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN showed well again today from Van de Bovenkamp hide. A Whinchat, a Wheatear and two Stonechats at Middle Point. An adult Med Gull on estuary and a Garganey fairly briefly from Robbie Garnett hide. 11 Green Sandpipers on the Tack Piece. The Tundra Bean Goose of unknown origin on South Lake again. Thrupp     A Dipper on the River Frome near Ham Mill this afternoon. (MK).

Walmore Common     A Yellow Wagtail, a Marsh Harrier and a Red Kite today. (Geoff Fawcett).

Forest of Dean     On Cannop Upper pond this morning c45 Mallards, two female Mandarins, an adult Coot with three young about a week old and two adult Coots with two juveniles, a Moorhen and a Cormorant. (Chris Keeling).
