This evening eight Little Egrets, two Lesser Whitethroats, three Whitethroats, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Green Woodpecker and 4+ Spotted Flycatchers. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     Early morning at high tide 100 Curlews, 40 Avocets, six Oystercatchers, four Redshanks, two summer-plumaged Turnstones, 19 Dunlins, 27 Shelducks, 600+ Black-headed Gulls, four Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, two Kestrels, ten Swallows, a Sand Martin, two Yellow Wagtails, four Pied Wagtails, a Whitethroat, a Chiffchaff, ten Mistle Thrushes and two Ravens. WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN showed well again today from Van de Bovenkamp hide. A Whinchat, a Wheatear and two Stonechats at Middle Point. An adult Med Gull on estuary and a Garganey fairly briefly from Robbie Garnett hide. 11 Green Sandpipers on the Tack Piece. The Tundra Bean Goose of unknown origin on South Lake again.
