WWT Slimbridge     The CASPIAN TERN flew in at 11am and eventually settled on the Dumbles with gulls for over an hour before flying off N. (Oliver Paisey et al). It was seen again flying towards Sharpness over land at 4:20pm but hasn’t been relocated. (Mark Hobson). Also today a SPOONBILL on the Rushy and another on the Top New Piece. On the Tack Piece a WOOD SANDPIPER, 14 Green Sandpipers, seven Little Ringed Plovers and a Garganey. A Spotted Redshank on South Lake and another on the Top New Piece. Sharpness     Three COMMON SCOTERS (2m, 1f) on the estuary N of SARA at 5:20pm. (Andy Jordan).

Frampton     A juvenile Goshawk from Splatt Bridge this morning. (Gordon Hodgson).

Saul Warth     Early morning no tide 105 Curlews, 87 Avocets, two Oystercatchers, 37 Dunlins, nine Black-tailed Godwits, 48 Shelducks, two unringed Common Cranes, two Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, three Kestrels, a Hobby, six Pied Wagtails, two Grey Wagtails, three Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat and 32 Swallows. Newnham-on-Severn    At least two Ring-necked Parakeets in Church Road this morning at 10:40am. Then four Ring-necked Parakeets flew along the banks of Severn heading towards Broadoak. Also great views of a Hobby catching a House Martin. (Paul Rich).

Rendcomb     A Dipper near the bridge, a Marsh Tit, a Buzzard, a Raven, two Jays, a Green Woodpecker, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Mistle Thrush and a small number of House Martins. At Elkstone a female Peacock with five chicks, of very dubious origin. (Steve Brown).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook this morning a pair of Mute Swans with three cygnets, 120 Canada Geese, six Egyptian Goose, a Mandarin on the farm pond, seven Gadwalls, 25 Mallards, a female Tufted Duck on the farm pond with two small ducklings, a Grey Heron, two Buzzards, a Chiffchaff, three Pied Wagtails and five Linnets. Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook Flood Storage Area four juvenile Stonechats and a Whitethroat. A Red Kite heading S over M5/J11a at 10:30am. (Paul Sutton).

Forest of Dean     A young Tawny Owl at 9:15pm at Forge Hill, Lydbrook. (Chris Sullivan). A Goshawk circling above the southern end of Chase End Hill, Bromesberrow mid afternoon. (Jeff Wheeler).
