Saul Warth     Early morning no tide 16 ARCTIC TERNS resting up on the mud, a summer plumaged Golden Plover, 123 Curlews, 84 Avocets, 54 Dunlins, 73 Shelducks, four Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, a Kestrel, two Mistle Thrushes, six Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, a Chiffchaff, a singing Willow Warbler and 86 Swallows. WWT Slimbridge     A WOOD SANDPIPER on the Tack Piece still. Also a Garganey, eight Green Sandpipers, three Little Ringed Plovers and a Spotted Redshank. Three Turnstones off of Middle Point and a Yellow Wagtail. Two SPOONBILLS from Zeiss hide. A BITTERN showed briefly in the island reed bed from Van de Bovenkamp hide. Frampton     From Splatt Bridge early this morning, two Kingfishers by the bridge, a Common Tern along the canal, two juvenile Kestrels, a Hobby over, a juvenile Grey Heron. A Green Woodpecker on the church tower and a family of six noisy Cetti’s Warblers. (Steve Pullen).

Westbury-on-Severn to Bollow     23 Yellow Wagtails and a Redstart at Garden Cliff and two Whimbrels flying downriver; two Peregrines and two Ravens at Lower Dumball and a Tawny Owl at Bollow. (Andy Jayne).
