WWT Slimbridge    Two Garganeys on the Rushy. The WOOD SANDPIPER, a Little Ringed Plover and another Garganey from Robbie Garnett hide. On South Lake a Knot, a Spotted Redshank and 190 Black-tailed Godwits. (Warren Gill/Dot Jones/Les Ditchburn/Peter Bryant/Keith Davies).

Saul Warth     Early morning no tide a Tree Pipit flew W calling, 103 Curlews, 80 Avocets, 80 Dunlins, 40 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, three Kestrels, a Kingfisher, 20 Pied Wagtails, a Willow Warbler, a Chiffchaff, a Whitethroat, three Blackcaps, 24 Swallows and five Ravens. Epney     An unseasonal Wigeon S of the Anchor Inn at 6:20am. (MK).

Lydney to Aylburton Warth     This afternoon two Dunlins, c450 Curlews, a Little Egret, three Swifts, a Peregrine killed a Crow, two Whinchats, 13 Stonechats, a Wheatear, 200+ Goldfinches and an unseasonal Rock Pipit. (Andy Jayne).

Aylburton Warth/Guscar Rocks     97 Canada Geese, three pairs of Shelduck with 19 ducklings, six Mallards, seven Grey Herons, a Cormorant, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, 400 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, 500 Black-headed Gulls, 70 Herring/Lesser Black-backed Gulls, a Skylark, five Swallows, two Yellow Wagtails and a Chiffchaff. Frampton pools     A Tufted Duck with a duckling, the Ross’s Goose with 98 Barnacle Geese, four Common Terns, two Swifts, 40+ Sand Martins, 30+ House Martins, 10+ Swallows, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Garden Warbler, a Whitethroat, a Reed Warbler, three Gadwalls, 72 Mute Swans and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. Forest of Dean     At Nagshead a Spotted Flycatcher feeding near the start of the path to Campbell hide. Along the path to Lower hide c12 Crossbills flying from one tree with more calling in nearby trees. At Lower hide (closed due to wasp nest) six Crossbills in the dead tree front left of the viewing screen. At Woorgreens Lake a Grey Heron lying down possibly anting. (Andy & Sue Gibbons). This afternoon at Upper Soudley Pond seven Spotted Flycatchers and a Little Grebe. At Lower Soudley Pond five Spotted Flycatchers (possibly the same family having moved) and a Kingfisher.
