WWT Slimbridge     From Zeiss hide  this afternoon five Garganeys, three SPOONBILLS, two Great White Egrets, 100+ Teal, a Peregrine, moulting Gadwall, six Common Cranes and two Green Sandpipers. (Thomas McClung). Earlier a juvenile WOOD SANDPIPER. Two Mandarins in the Decoy. On the Rushy two Spotted Redshanks. (Slimbridge Sightings). Two BITTERNS from Van de Bovenkamp hide. (Alan Bryant).

Saul Warth     Between 6-9am no tide, waders all distant 132 Curlews, 22 Avocets, 75 Ringed Plovers, 30 Dunlins, a Knot, two Grey Plovers, a Greenshank heard, 97 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, two Arctic Terns, a Grey Wagtail, five Pied Wagtails, a Blackcap, a Whitethroat, three Chiffchaffs and 20 Goldfinches. Epney     A Wigeon again with 35 Mallards S of the Anchor Inn at Epney at 5:55am. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This lunchtime 100+ Goldfinches, a Grey Wagtail, 4+ Yellow Wagtails and a Kingfisher. (Paul Clark).

Coscombe    In the copse at Coscombe Corner a singing Blackcap and six very active Spotted Flycatchers. Also a Whitethroat singing along Campden track. (Ali Clifton Barnard).

Stroud     A Dipper, a Grey Wagtail and a Kingfisher at Frome Banks NR. (Paul Sutton).

Quedgeley     A Peregrine on the incinerator seen from southbound M5 at midday. (Paul Sutton).

Forest of Dean     At 8:15am 60+ House Martins in and above the Lydbrook valley. Further groups of up to 30+ appearing throughout the afternoon. (Chris Sullivan).

Stonehouse     A Coal Tit in the garden, the first for a couple of years. (Paul Sutton).
