Newark Park At 4:30pm up to nine Red Kites including three juveniles in a field NE of Newark Park car park. Also three Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, 300+ House Martins and Swallows with three Swifts. (Tim McGrath).

Ashleworth Ham Two Redstarts and a Kestrel this morning. (Oliver Hague). A Constant Effort Site ringing session caught 77 birds including two Redstarts, two Sedge Warblers, six Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Blackcap, a Willow Warbler, two Chiffchaffs, a Kingfisher, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Stonechat, three Treecreepers and 36 Goldfinches.
