Saul Warth Early morning 151 Curlews, six Avocets, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Dunlins, a Greenshank heard, 64 Shelducks, 50 Teal, two Little Egrets, a Great White Egret, six Cattle Egrets, seven Grey Herons, four Grey Wagtails, a Yellow Wagtail, ten Pied Wagtails, a Swallow, a Lesser Whitethroat, two Whitethroats, a Blackcap and six Chiffchaffs including a very pale grey bird. WWT Slimbridge This morning a Green Sandpiper, 14 Ruff, a Knot, a showy Snipe, the leucistic Lapwing and a Black Swan on the Rushy. A Great White Egret, a WOOD SANDPIPER, a Yellow Wagtail, two Sand Martins and a Kingfisher from Zeiss hide and the Tundra Bean Goose, of unknown origin, on South Lake still. (MK).

Elmore Court In the rewilding area early morning birds included a Spotted Flycatcher, 3+ Whinchats still with 5+Stonechats, 12+Reed Buntings, a Cetti’s Warbler, two Green Woodpeckers, five Cormorants over, a Sparrowhawk, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Roe Deer and a Fox. (Steve Pullen).

Ashleworth Ham A ringing session today caught 49 birds including two Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, 17 Chiffchaffs, three Willow Warbler and five Reed Buntings.
