Sharpness An intermediate juvenile LONG-TAILED SKUA drifted up on the river viewed from Coastguards early afternoon. It was last seen from Lydney at 2:25pm. (Andy Jordan). WWT Slimbridge A GREY PHALAROPE on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide until 1pm at least. (Martin McGill). Also a GLOSSY IBIS, a SPOONBILL, a Garganey and 17 Avocets. On the Rushy two Garganeys, eight Knot and five Spotted Redshanks. From Middle Point at least seven Little Stints, ten Curlew Sandpipers and 15 Sanderlings amongst the Dunlin and Ringed Plovers. Saul Warth Early morning no tide, few birds in a near gale, 53 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, 26 Shelducks, a Buzzard, three Kestrels, 19 Common Cranes, ten Pied Wagtails, a Meadow Pipit, a Chiffchaff, ten Swallows and a Raven. (MK).
Nailsworth A Hobby hunting hirundines this morning during a small movement of 40+ House Martins and 20+ Swallows. (Terry Grant).
Longlevens A female/juvenile Redstart in the garden sheltering from the strong wind under the Hydrangea, then finally had a bath and flew off north. (Dave Stone).

Coombe Hill Meadows A Buzzard, two Kestrels, 8+ Swallows, 6+ House Martins, a Linnet, 8+ Long-tailed Tits, a male Willow Emerald damselfly and a late male Southern Migrant Hawker. (Paul Clark).
