WWT Slimbridge     A GLOSSY IBIS still around the grounds today. From Middle Point 150-200 Dunlins and Ringed Plovers, a Turnstone, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Knot, 1+ Little Stint, 25 Sanderlings, two Curlew Sandpipers, two Greenshanks, two SPOONBILLS and an immature Peregrine. On the Rushy two Garganeys and a Spotted Redshank. (Slimbridge Sightings/Duncan Dine/Roy Kinchin/Terry Stevenson).

Sharpness     From SARA 6:30-9:30am 142 Canada Geese and 22 Greylags flew south, 15 Shelducks, 40 Mallards, five Cormorants, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, a Buzzard, five Redshanks, a Curlew, 2+ Ringed Plovers heard, 50+ Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, a Yellow Wagtail, three Rock Pipits and two Chiffchaffs. Chavenage Lane area     A female Marsh Harrier hunting over fields, and eight Red Kites. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     From 11am to 1:30pm a Green Sandpiper flew up from the canal near the wharf, a Buzzard, a male Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Kestrels and a roving flock of c20 Linnets.  (Andy & Sue Gibbons).
