WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide on the Top New Piece two Curlew Sandpipers, four SPOONBILLS and two GLOSSY IBISES. On South Lake three Spotted Redshanks. (Slimbridge Sightings/Paul Rich). From Middle Point between 12:30-1pm two Wheatears and a male Stonechat on the cross fence.  Also five Sanderlings feeding together on the estuary. From Zeiss hide at 3pm c15 Ruff. Shepherd’s Patch     At least 12 Cattle Egrets in the field before the Tudor Arms at 11am. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Saul Warth     85 Curlews, 40 Avocets, three Bar-tailed Godwits, a Common Sandpiper, a Snipe, two Ringed Plovers, first autumn Lapwing, two late Oystercatchers, five Little Egrets, 12 Grey Herons, 19 Common Cranes, six Cormorants, 66 Shelducks, 32 Teal, 20 Wigeon, two Hobbies, two Peregrines, four Chiffchaffs, five Swallows, 50 Linnets, a Reed Bunting and a Nuthatch, a scarce patch bird. Kingswood    Over 250 Greylags flew in to roost and feed on the maize stubble in fields opposite Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School at 7pm. Also two Tawny Owls calling and two Little Owls. (Thomas McCarthy).

Berkeley shore     A Redwing flew S, 41 Turnstones, two Curlews, six Redpolls flew N, a Kingfisher, 39 Canada Geese, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Green Sandpiper, 12 Skylarks, four Reed Buntings, 30 Meadow Pipits, eight Swallows, 2000+ Common Gulls, a Great Black-backed Gull, 1000+ Black-headed Gulls and four Cormorants. Frampton pools    A Stonechat, two Skylarks, six Swallows, two Reed Buntings, many Chiffchaffs, a Buzzard, a Hobby, a Great White Egret and a Water Rail today. (Nick Goatman).

Tewkesbury     At Lower Lode brickpits this evening two Mute Swans, 50 Greylags flew S, ten Mallards, four Coots and a Cetti’s Warbler singing repeatedly from across the Severn
on the edge of Severn Ham. (Mike Smart).
