WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide two GLOSSY IBISES, two SPOONBILLS, 110 Black-tailed Godwits and a Spotted Redshank. 170 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Saul Warth     97 Curlews, 50 Avocets, nine Bar-tailed Godwits, six Black-tailed Godwits, a Common Sandpiper, two Grey Plovers, three Ringed Plovers, three Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, 80 Shelducks, 30 Teal, 25 Wigeon, a Marsh Harrier, a first-winter Mediterranean Gull, three Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, 69 Swallows, 19 Meadow Pipits and two Reed Buntings. Frampton pools     A Wheatear on Court field, 58 Swallows, two Great White Egrets, 48 Mallards, 12 Shovelers, four Grey Herons, four Little Grebes, five Great Crested Grebes, 22 Cormorants, 21 Teal, eight Wigeon, 21 Tufted Ducks, 52 Gadwalls, two Canada Geese, 12 Meadow Pipits and a Grey Wagtail today. Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session this morning caught 36 birds including three juvenile Stonechats, a Blackcap, six Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, four Goldfinches, a Bullfinch and nine Reed Buntings. On the reserve three Mute Swans, Mallards calling, a Grey Heron, ten Skylarks, 20 Swallows and a Raven. (Mike Smart/Ashleworth ringing team).
