WWT Slimbridge     From Zeiss hide the Tundra Bean Goose, two BITTERNS at midday, 14 Grey Plovers flew N, two Great White Egrets and a Cetti’s Warbler. (Mike Davis/Oliver Paisey/Dot Jones). 28+ Cattle Egrets flew into the approach fields this afternoon. (Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth     Early morning no tide 61 Curlews, 67 Avocets, two Bar-tailed Godwits, eight Grey Plovers, 16 Shelducks, 133 Teal, eight Wigeon, a Hobby, a Peregrine, a Grey Wagtail, seven Pied Wagtails, three Yellow Wagtails, six Chiffchaffs, a Lesser Whitethroat, three Blackcaps, three Goldcrests, three male Stonechats, 50 Linnets and a flock of 150 Swallows flew south. Woodchester Park     This afternoon two Red Kite, a Goshawk, six Buzzards, a Hobby, a Sparrowhawk, 50+ House Martins, six Crossbills, 25+ Siskins, eight Ravens and seven Mistle Thrushes. (Tim McGrath).

Newnham-on-Severn     Two Ring-necked Parakeets behind the Silver Fox café at 10am. (David Smith).

Nailsworth     A spectacular northerly movement of 3350+ hirundines, the vast majority of them House Martins, past Windsoredge between 12:05 and 12:50pm. Also a Hawfinch flew north and two Red Kites circled the valley. (Terry Grant).

Chavenage Lane area     At least 15 Red Kites, 10+ Buzzards and a female Marsh Harrier today. (Terry Grant).

Hasfield    200+ Goldfinches feeding on the seed heads of hawkbit at Stank Lane, Also a female Pintail on the river. (Robin Lewis).
