WWT Slimbridge     A Peregrine took a LEACH’S PETREL off of Middle Point at 10:30am. A MERLIN from Zeiss hide at 1:35pm. An adult Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. (Andy Jayne). Two BITTERNS from Zeiss hide today at 4pm. Also five Snipe, a Green Sandpiper and a Little Grebe on the Rushy 2pm, two GLOSSY IBISES and a Water Rail from Martin Smith hide at 2:30pm. (Steve Money).

Chavenage Lane area     31 Crossbills in trees, then drinking from a puddle before flying W at 3:50pm Also 8+ Stonechats, 14 Corn Buntings and 6+ Red Kites. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     24 Mallards, a Water Rail, 13 Moorhens, a Golden Plover over N, a Mute Swan, a Grey Heron, a Cetti’s Warbler in the corner of the Long Pool withys, 20 Chiffchaffs, 30 Linnets, 35 Goldfinches. Some limited passage with a Redwing and two Siskins and two Lesser Redpolls over west. (Ian Ralphs).

Leigh Meadows     Ten Mallards, a Grey Heron, two Buzzards, a Snipe, a Kingfisher, two Meadow Pipits, 40 Carrion Crows, 80 Rooks, 20 Linnets, 20 Goldfinches, a Reed Bunting and two OTTERS. (Shaun Curtis/Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     At Mitton two Mute Swans and a Snipe. At Mythe Hook two Mute Swans, three Wigeon, a Gadwall, 37 Mallards, a Grey Heron, 30 Black-headed Gulls, five Skylarks over, ten Meadow Pipits, five Pied Wagtails, four Stonechats, a Cetti’s Warbler singing and a Chiffchaff.
