Gloucester     An immature male Goldeneye on Price’s Pool at Sandhurst this morning. Also a Water Rail calling. (Andy Jayne).

Avening     Five Fieldfare on the golf course 9th Fairway at 10:50am today. (Mil Petkovic).

WWT Slimbridge     From Middle Point this morning, 250-300 distant small waders, Ringed Plovers and mainly Dunlin, 17 Ruff, 57 Golden Plovers, seven Grey Plovers, two Bar-tailed Godwits, three Sanderlings, two Little Stints, three SPOONBILLS and a Peregrine. (Ian Ralphs). Two GLOSSY IBISES still around the grounds. (Terry Stevenson).

Elmore Court     In the rewilding area two Wheatears, six Stonechats, 20+ Meadow Pipits, 20+ Linnets, eight Skylarks, a Lesser Whitethroat, three Swallows, six Reed Buntings, a Cattle Egret, 5+ Grey Herons, two Red Kites, five Buzzards, two Kestrels and two Sparrowhawks. (Steve Pullen).

Nailsworth     In the Barton End area a Marsh Harrier, four Red Kites, 5+ Stonechats and a Wheatear. (Terry Grant).

Awre     At least 17 Common Cranes flying around over the fields just south of Awre village and landing on the sand banks/mud flats at very low tide just before midday. (Jeff Wheeler).
