WWT Slimbridge     From Middle Point a Little Stint, a Curlew Sandpiper, 120 Avocets, 18 Grey Plovers, 12 Bar-tailed Godwits, 350 Golden Plovers, seven Ruff, 300 Dunlins, 70 Ringed Plovers, a juvenile Marsh Harrier and a SPOONBILL. (Ian Ralphs). 8-9 Redwings flew over the summer walkway towards the river. On the Top New Piece at least one Curlew Sandpiper and a Little Stint. (Roberta Goodall).

Tewkesbury     At Lower Lode brick-pits four Mute Swans, three Mandarins, 20 Wigeon, ten Teal, ten Mallards, a Great White Egret, a Grey Heron, four Coots, 30 Black -headed Gulls and five Skylarks over. A Cetti’s Warbler singing across the river on Severn Ham. (Mike Smart).

Sapperton     A FIRECREST by the towpath near the Daneway Inn today. (Chris Moore).

Chavenage Lane     Five Red Kites today. (Terry Grant).
