Lydney harbour     An adult CASPIAN GULL and an adult Yellow-legged Gull this afternoon. (Jeremy Squire).

Saul Warth     At dawn, no tide, 175+ Avocets, four Bar-tailed Godwits, eight Grey Plovers, four Ringed Plovers, 114 Curlews, 100 Dunlins, 63 Shelducks, 300+ Teal, a female Pintail, 12 Common Cranes on the mud, three Great White Egrets, 12 Little Egrets, seven Grey Herons, two Chiffchaffs, a male Blackcap, ten Pied Wagtails, 12 Meadow Pipits and a Reed Bunting. Cleeve Hill     A late Wheatear by the radio masts this afternoon. Also 40 Fieldfares over. (Duncan Dine).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A female Kestrel, three Meadow Pipits, six Stonechats, a Grey Wagtail, 27 Redwings, 10+ Linnets and three male Willow Emerald damselflies. (Paul Clark).

Chavenage Lane area     200+ Golden Plovers, 7+ Red Kites, five Corn Buntings and a male and female Stonechat today. (Terry Grant).

Hawling-Guiting Power area     On a circular walk from Hawling N towards Ford and back via Guiting Power, including in fields N of Hawling birds included c200 Golden Plovers, c500 Linnets, c100 Chaffinches, c5 Yellowhammers, four Corn Buntings, c50 Fieldfares and c20 Redwings and further N on the walk a Brambling, a Goshawk over, two Crossbills, two Meadow Pipits, four Redpolls, five Siskins and a Water Rail calling at SP083259. Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens a Brambling, Redpolls, Siskins, a Skylark, a Goldcrest, a Chaffinch, a Raven, a Goshawk and a Buzzard. (Jeff Wheeler).
