WWT Slimbridge     A TEMMINCK’S STINT on South Lake late morning. (Peter Coslett/Barry Dursley et al). It had moved to the Rushy at 5pm, also 11 Snipe and a Water Rail heard from Zeiss hide. (Craig Brookes).

Temminck’s Stint by Paul Masters

From Middle Point a Knot, 13 Sanderlings, a Little Stint, 7 Barwits, 12 Grey Plovers, c500 Golden Plovers, 12 Ruff, c40 Pintails and c400 Dunlins. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman). Three BITTERNS from Zeiss hide. (Paul Clark).

Cleeve Hill    Between 9:40-11:15am birds included  12 Stonechats, 60 Fieldfares, 15 Redwings, a Crossbill over. 15 Meadow Pipits, 12 Linnets, eight Yellowhammers, two Corn Buntings, 15 Goldfinches, 25 Skylarks and a Red Kite. (Tom Mabbett).

Frampton pools     40+ Cattle Egrets came into roost, also a Great White Egret 12 Little Egrets, 140 Wigeon, 96 Mallards, 55 Tufted Ducks, 47 Cormorants, 52 Shovelers, 37 Teal, 39 Gadwalls, five Pochards, a Green Sandpiper, five Chiffchaffs, 30+ Siskins, 200+ Linnets. 20+ Greenfinches, 50+ Goldfinches and three Grey Wagtails. (Nick Goatman). At least 255 Fieldfares NW through Splatt Bridge this morning, also a Rock Pipit N and Ring-necked Parakeet high S. (Gordon Hodgson).

Saul Warth     7:30-9:30am 175+ Avocets, 152 Curlews, 30 Dunlins, 21 Shelducks, 35 Teal, 22 Stock Doves, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, 12 Grey Herons, two Chiffchaffs, a Peregrine on prey, a Raven, two Mistle Thrushes and 20 Goldfinches. (MK).

Calmsden area     7/8 Grey Partridges at the side of the road 200m E of the Recycling Site. 19 Golden Plovers circling repeatedly near the airfield. (Steve Brown).
