Berkeley shore     An immature male BLACK REDSTART on the seawall this morning, then flew S into the farm. Also two Turnstones, 32 Wigeon, Redpolls heard and a Reed Bunting. (Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth     7-9:30am 35 Avocets, 34 Curlews, five Bar-tailed Godwits, five Grey Plovers, 50 Dunlins, 25 Cormorants, 49 Shelducks, 100 Teal, seven Grey Herons, a Little Egret, a Great White Egret, a Peregrine on a kill on the Awre bank, 9+ Skylarks, a Chiffchaff, six Stonechats and a Redwing. Frampton pools     This afternoon 40+ Cattle Egrets, two Great White Egrets, seven Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, two Crossbills, five Redpolls, eight Chiffchaffs, 16 Redwings, ten Siskins, a Stonechat, two Peregrines, a Green Sandpiper, 29 Wigeon, 45 Tufted Ducks, 70 Shovelers, eight Pochards, 16 Teal, 84 Mallards, 48 Gadwalls and a Water Rail. Stonehouse     Along the Stroudwater canal at 12:30pm a Cetti’s Warbler, a female Kingfisher and a Blackcap. (Paul Sutton).

Rendcomb     Around the bridge early morning, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk, a Grey Heron, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Mistle Thrush, a singing Song Thrush, two Nuthatches, c6 Long-tailed Tits, a few Siskins and a Raven. (Steve Brown).

Norton/Sandhurst Hill     Two mixed flocks of finches, 70+ Linnets, six Chaffinches, two Redpolls and 1+ Brambling and another flock of 20+ Chaffinches and two Bramblings. (Shaun Curtis).

Halmore     In the woods today birds included a juvenile male Goshawk, a hunting female Goshawk, two Red Kites, three Buzzards together, a hunting male Sparrowhawk, a female Kingfisher, a Bullfinch, several Siskins, a Redpoll, two Greenfinches, two Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff, a Nuthatch, a Treecreeper, two Redwings, a Jay and four Ravens.
