Saul Warth     Between 7-9:15am at high tide, 35 Black-tailed Godwits, 15 Curlews, 61 Lapwings flew S, a Grey Plover, a Common Sandpiper, eight Cormorants, 91 Shelducks, a female Wigeon, 24 Teal, five Grey Herons, eight Little Egrets, a Kestrel, two Skylarks, two Chiffchaffs, 20 Linnets and two Reed Buntings. Also a largish high-flying bat at 7am was probably a Noctule. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge    A BITTERN flew from in front of Van de Bovenkamp hide towards the Zeiss hide before flying over the South Finger walkway today. A Mediterranean Gull on South Lake and the TEMMINCK’S STINT still on the Rushy. (Martin Price). 180 Avocets on the edge of the Dumbles, a Sanderling with the Dunlin flock and a Grey Plover. The Pink-footed Goose of unknown origin on the Dumbles with Canada Geese. (Ian Ralphs). A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER reported again near the Kingfisher hide at 12:43pm. (per Ian Hull).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning a Buzzard, three Kestrels, 5+ Fieldfares, 4+ Redwings, four Meadow Pipits, six Stonechats, 10+ Long-tailed Tits, 90+ mixed flock of mostly Goldfinches and 10+ Linnets, two Grey Herons and a Water Rail. (Paul Clark).

Arlingham     400+ Stock Doves, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Peregrine, three Buzzards, five Chiffchaffs, ten Stonechats and ten Reed Buntings today. (Andy Jayne).
