WWT Slimbridge     The TEMMINCK’S STINT still on the Rushy today. A MERLIN on the Middle Point cross fence. A drake Goosander on the Top New Piece. 240 Avocets on the Dumbles at 9am. (Roberta Goodall/Paul Masters/Geoff Moyser). Seven White-fronted Geese (three juveniles) from Kingfisher Hide this afternoon. A BITTERN on the Top New Piece and an adult Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Saul Warth     7:15-9:30am at high tide two Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, 21 Cormorants, 80 Shelducks, 40 Teal, five Grey Herons, 23 Cattle Egrets, 16 Little Egrets, a Kestrel, five Skylarks, a Stonechat, a Chiffchaff, 37 Meadow Pipits, ten Linnets and a Reed Bunting. (MK).

Frampton    From Splatt Bridge at first light two Marsh Harriers, two Sparrowhawks, two Kestrels, two Kingfishers, two Stonechats, two Reed Buntings, 10+ Redwings, four Fieldfares, two Mistle Thrushes, six Little Egrets, 20+ Lapwings and two Bats by the church. (Steve Pullen).

Chavenage Lane area     Seven Red Kites, a male Goshawk, 250+ Skylarks and 100+ Linnets today. (Terry Grant).

Gloucester     A Red Kite over Hempsted at 1:40pm heading towards the docks. (Gord Avery).
