WWT Slimbridge     A GREAT NORTHERN DIVER flew high N over the Dumbles. (Paul Clack per Ian Hull). Ten White-fronted Geese on the scrape in front of Estuary Tower. A BITTERN from Kingfisher hide. The TEMMINCK’S STINT still present today and five Egyptian Geese on the Tack Piece. A MERLIN on the cross fence N of the Estuary Tower briefly. Saul Warth     Between 7-9:30am high tide, an Avocet, 29 Curlews, six Grey Plovers, five Dunlins, 267 Lapwings flew S, 63 Shelducks, 17 Teal, three Grey Herons, three Little Egrets, a male Stonechat, a Chiffchaff, 15 Meadow Pipits and three Reed Buntings. A Noctule bat hunting Hock Ditch at 7am again. (MK).

Newnham-on-Severn     A Brambling in the garden at lunchtime today. (David Smith). Four Blackcaps (2m) in the garden this morning. (Dan Watson).

Rodley     A Water Rail this morning on the river bank at 8:20am as the tide was coming in, calling for a good few minutes very close but not seen. (Rachel Thomas).

Ashleworth Ham     36 Greylags, 38 Mallards, three Grey Herons, a Buzzard, five Skylarks flew SW and 100 Jackdaws. (Shaun Curtis & Mike Smart).

Cobney Meadows     A Snipe, six Skylarks through, three Pied Wagtails, 40 Fieldfares and a Chiffchaff. (Shaun Curtis & Mike Smart).

Leigh Meadows     Nine Mute Swans, a Sparrowhawk, ten Stock Doves, 20 Skylarks, a Pied Wagtail, two Grey Wagtails, a Meadow Pipit, three Stonechats, 60 Fieldfares and two Greenfinches. (Shaun Curtis & Mike Smart).
