WWT Slimbridge     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER between the Willow hide and Estuary Tower this morning. A MERLIN on the cross fence at Middle Point early morning. Also a very pale Chiffchaff in bushes below the Estuary Tower. (Mark Dowie). The TEMMINCK’S STINT still on the Rushy. Eight White-fronted Geese (two on the Dumbles, six on the Tack Piece). Three Spotted Redshanks, a Little Stint, a Ruff, 25 Redshanks and 2 Common Cranes on the Tack Piece from Robbie Garnett hide. A Water Rail near Willow hide and a Kingfisher from Martin Smith hide. Saul Warth     Between 7:20-10am high tide, 225 Avocets, 14 Curlews, a Redshank, 140 Lapwings flew S, 16 Shelducks, 15 Teal, five Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, three Stonechats, two Chiffchaffs, a Pied Wagtail, 15 Meadow Pipits, a Fieldfare, a Mistle Thrush, ten Skylarks and three Reed Buntings. Tarlton      A female/juvenile MERLIN on Tarlton Downs this afternoon. (Dave Soons).

Forest of Dean     A Goosander, 25 Wigeon and 14 Tufted Ducks at Cannop ponds this morning. Also two Marsh Tits around the car park. (Dan Watson).

Elmore Court     In the rewilding area this morning ten Stonechats, 12 Reed Buntings, 22 Skylarks, 15 Meadow Pipits, two Blackcaps, five Stock Doves, two Green Woodpeckers, two Grey Herons, three Buzzards, two Kestrels and two Ravens. Also a Fox and three Roe Deer. (Steve Pullen).

Uley     Five Buzzards and a Red Kite over Crawley valley, a Grey Wagtail on Fiery Lane, a Kingfisher and 12 Mallards on the millpond behind Grist Mill, two Grey Herons and a Greenfinch in the field behind Owlpen Farm lake and 30 Mallards on the small lake by Fiery Lane farm. (Tim Thompson).

Halmore     In the woods today two Greenfinches, a Bullfinch, a Blackcap, a Chiffchaff, c20 Fieldfares, several Redwings, three Nuthatches, four Goldcrests, a Treecreeper, a female Kingfisher, 24 Lapwings over and two Ravens. Also two Red Admirals and a Clouded Yellow. (Chris Newton).

Stonehouse     In the Stanley Downton/Bond’s Mill area seven Chiffchaffs, several Goldcrests, a small flock of Goldfinches, small numbers of Chaffinches and mixed tit flocks including Long-tailed Tits, Blue Tits and Great Tits, two Greenfinches, two Grey Herons, four Cormorants, a Little Grebe, a Kingfisher from Nutshell Bridge to the Ocean, a pair of Jays, 20 Magpies, 250+ Woodpigeons SW and a Buzzard. Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session this morning caught 39 birds including a Stonechat, four Redwings, three Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, two Treecreepers and two Reed Buntings. Other birds on the reserve included 30 Mallards, three Grey Herons, a Buzzard, 20 Lapwings flew S, 30 Skylarks, a Stonechat, 20 Fieldfares and two Ravens. (Mike Smart/Ashleworth ringing team).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Siskin and Redpoll through this morning and six Clouded Yellows, four normal and two pale form. (Ian Ralphs).
