WWT Slimbridge     The TEMMINCK’S STINT still on the Rushy today. The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in the Estuary Walkway withy bed, close to the tunnel/new path. It was calling and showed briefly. (Roberta Goodall). At 9:38am a MERLIN briefly on the cross fence then flew towards the Tack Piece then seen again briefly at 10:14am. (Oliver Paisey). A KITTIWAKE flew downriver with Black-headed Gulls mid-morning seen from Zeiss hide. (David Creber). 12 White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece. (Ian Ralphs).

Frampton pools     A mixed flock of 81 Cattle Egrets and Little Egrets came in to roost, two Great White Egrets, four Grey Herons, 1500+ Woodpigeons, a Crossbill, ten Great Crested Grebes, eight Pochards, 29 Cormorants, five Shovelers, three Teal, two Wigeon, 24 Tufted Ducks, 42 Mute Swans, 16 Redwings, three Stonechats, three singing Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap. Saul Warth     Between 7-9:30am 225 Avocets, 66 Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 50 Dunlins, 29 Shelducks, 15 Wigeon, 27 Teal, 1850 Woodpigeons flew E, seven Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, a Peregrine, three Kestrels, a singing Chiffchaff, a Fieldfare, a Mistle Thrush, six Skylarks and a Reed Bunting. Forest of Dean     At least 3500 Woodpigeons this morning in a couple of hours, also a small passage of Bramblings, Chaffinches and Redpoll over, 20 Crossbills, small flocks of Redwings and 30 Fieldfares. (Rob Husbands).

Nailsworth     A flock of 800+ Redwings flew W over Windsoredge, followed by a flock of 30+ just before mist obscured further viewing at 7:55am. Between 7:30am and 8am 1250+ Woodpigeons flew S. (Terry Grant).

Colesbourne     On the first Km of the bridle path E of the village, a Sparrowhawk, four Red Kites, two Buzzards, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 40 Fieldfares over, a Mistle Thrush and a Song Thrush both singing, two Skylarks, a Marsh Tit, two Nuthatches, 13 Linnets, a Yellowhammer, a Crossbill and a few Siskins heard, three Ravens and two Jays. Witcombe Reservoirs     WeBS count today 25 Greylags, 312 Mallards, five Tufted Ducks, two Grey Herons, six Cormorants, eight Moorhens, two Herring Gulls, a Common Gull, 35 Black-headed Gulls and a Pied Wagtail. (Gord Avery).

Shab Hill     A Buzzard, three Golden Plovers, male and female Stonechat, c300 Chaffinches and a few Greenfinches feeding on sunflower heads (game crop), three Yellowhammers and 5+ Skylarks. (Gord Avery).

Gloucester     At 8am this morning 650 Woodpigeons flew S-SW over Hemmingsdale mainly in two flocks. (Gord Avery).

Dowdeswell Reservoir     A Reed Bunting, a Chiffchaff, two Grey Herons, 17 Moorhens, a pair of Mallards, a Meadow Pipit, three Red Kites circling together, a Buzzard, a Marsh Tit, c10 Long-tailed Tits, two Cormorants and a Grey Wagtail. (Tom Mabbett).

Aylburton Warth/Guscar Rocks     WeBS count this morning 140 Greylags, 30 Canada Goose, 30 Wigeon, 610 Teal, five Mallards, 11 Grey Herons, a Little Egret, two Buzzards, a male Peregrine, ten Lapwings, 2+ Golden Plovers, 120 Dunlins, a Snipe, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 400 Curlews, 50 Redshanks, 20 Black-headed Gulls, 40 Herring Gulls, 25 Skylarks, six Meadow Pipits, 12 Pied Wagtails, two Stonechats, a Cetti’s Warbler, 100+ Carrion Crow, 100+ Jackdaw and two Reed Buntings.
