WWT Slimbridge     A female Goosander landed on South Lake at 11:15am. (Geoff Moyser). Two redhead Goosanders briefly on the Top New Piece at 11:30am. (Tan Grigg/Paul Masters). From Estuary Tower, birds included three Marsh Harriers, two Peregrines on the Dumbles, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, a male Sparrowhawk on the Tack Piece fence, a Ross’s Goose with Barnacle Geese, 13 Common Cranes, a Snipe, six Curlews, three juvenile White-fronted Geese, four Chiffchaffs, six Long-Tailed Tits, a Goldcrest and a female Blackcap. (Chris Newton/Paul Clark). 300+ Dunlins on the Peng/Rushy at 9am. Three Stock Doves and five Snipe from Martin Smith hide. (Paul Clark). A very showy Cetti’s Warbler from the Estuary Tower this morning. (Steve Pullen).

Tresham     A late Wheatear feeding in the field on the right just before the barn as you drive towards the village. From the gate in the hedge it was not very far from the wall, and c30-40 yards from the piles of soil and rubbish at the rear of the barns. Also four Red Kites and many Skylarks. (Terry Grant).

Chavenage Lane area     300+ Skylarks, 16 Corn Buntings, six Red Kites and four Stonechats today. (Terry Grant).

Saul Warth     Early morning, no tide, 90 Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 160 Avocets, 20 Dunlins, 20 Lapwings flew S, 75 Shelducks, seven Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, seven Little Egrets, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, two Mistle Thrushes, two Fieldfares, seven Skylarks, a Stonechat, 12 Long-tailed Tits and 15 Meadow Pipits. (MK).
