Frampton pools A RICHARD’S PIPIT flew over low calling heading SE at 9:30am. This evening 51 Cattle Egrets, three Great White Egrets and 31 Little Egrets roosted at Court Lake. Around the pools two Bramblings, three Siskins, five Chiffchaffs, 31 Redwings, three Fieldfares, three Mistle Thrushes, 50 Tufted Ducks, five Gadwalls, a Shoveler, two Pochards, 220 Coots, 44 Cormorants and a Yellow-legged Gull. WWT Slimbridge A first-winter CURLEW SANDPIPER on the Tack Piece and the first three BEWICK’S SWANS of the winter. Also a Little Stint, a Spotted Redshank and two Marsh Harriers. Saul Warth Early morning no tide 48 Shelducks, 88 Curlews, 150 Avocets, 20 Dunlins, eight Cormorants, four Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Marsh Harrier tried to hunt at Hock Ditch but was evicted by Crows, seven Fieldfares, two Pied Wagtails, 14 Meadow Pipits and three Chiffchaffs. Coombe Hill Meadows 90 Greylags, 60 Wigeon, 60 Teal, 150 Mallards, 20 Pintails, five Shovelers, a Grey Heron, two Buzzards, a Lapwing, three Snipe, 20 Skylarks, ten Pied Wagtails, six Meadow Pipits, 20 Fieldfares, 200 Starlings, 200 Jackdaws, 20 Carrion Crows, 40 Goldfinches, five Greenfinches and a Reed Bunting. Cotswold Water Park East The escaped Scarlet Ibis again in flooded fields adjacent to Pit 114. It has been present in the east of the County since August 2024 at least. (Duncan Dine).

Nailsworth From the garden in Walkley Wood/Shortwood today six Ravens together mid morning, 35 Siskins, five Redpolls, two Red Kites, four Buzzards, two Sparrowhawks, two Marsh Tits, male and female Blackcap, a Chiffchaff and 50+ Redwings in to roost. (Jon Haw).
Stonehouse In the Bond’s Mill area late afternoon a Kingfisher near Nutshell Bridge, three Cormorants at the Ocean, a Red Kite very high over St Cyr’s church drifting NW towards Doverow Hill, two more Cormorants at Bond’s Mill, two Jays and a Chiffchaff. (Paul Sutton).
