WWT Slimbridge    In the scrub near the Decoy hide at lunchtime today a FIRECREST, two Blackcaps, a Goldcrest, a Treecreeper, a Bullfinch, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Chiffchaff. (Tim McGrath/Dave Paynter). Two Little Stints viewable from the Estuary Tower on the Tack Piece with Dunlins this morning. (Warren Gill).

Saul Warth     Mid-morning at high tide, 30 Avocets, 17 Curlews, six Redshanks, two Little Egrets, two Cattle Egrets, two Kestrels, two Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, a Rock Pipit, a Chiffchaff and two Reed Buntings. Also in the spring like weather a Red Admiral and Rooks displaying and repairing nests. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, c300 Canada Geese, 184 Greylags, two Mandarins, 40 Shovelers, 23 Gadwalls, 800 Wigeon, 200 Pintails, 600 Teal, 20 Mallards, three Pochards, 23 Tufted Ducks, 20 Coots, three Snipe, a Sparrowhawk, 300 Black-headed Gulls, a Jay, 75 Jackdaws, 25 Carrion Crows, a Cetti’s Warbler, two Meadow Pipits, two Pied Wagtails, 60 Fieldfares, two Linnets, four Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps and a Yellowhammer today. Forest of Dean     This morning 4+ Goldcrests, 10+ Long-tailed Tits and a Dipper at Parkend. Two Goosanders (1m), 6+ Little Grebes, four Wigeon, 8+ Mandarins and two Ravens at Cannop Ponds. At Woorgreens NR four Goosanders (1m), two Grey Herons, ten Tufted Ducks, 35+ mixed flock of Siskins, Redpolls and Goldfinches, two Ravens and three Fieldfares. (Paul Clark).

Cobney Meadows     This afternoon eight Mute Swans, seven Egyptian Geese, four Shelducks, 150 Wigeon, 50 Teal, ten Mallards, two Pintails, ten Shovelers, a Tufted Duck, ten Lapwings and 150 Black-headed Gulls. (Mike Smart).

Chavenage Lane area     Seven Red Kites, three Kestrels and seven Buzzards, and at nearby Barton End, two Red Kites, 17 Corn Buntings, two Buzzards and 45+ Linnets. (Terry Grant).

Leighterton     750+ Common Gulls feeding in fields. (Terry Grant).

Longney      A Red Kite flew N at 9:26am and nearby 69 Lapwings at Epney. (MK).
