WWT Slimbridge     A Goshawk from Kingfisher hide this morning. A BITTERN seen from Van de Bovenkamp hide late morning. Also three OTTERS reported from Zeiss hide at 11:20am. (Mike Davis).

Saul Warth     At high tide, the strong SW wind was unproductive, 25 Shelducks, 30 Curlews, ten Grey Herons, a Little Egret, ten Cormorants, two Kestrels and a Sparrowhawk hunting the 100 strong Starling flock. Ten Cattle Egrets, five Little Egrets and ten Pied Wagtails opposite Dunstalls Farm at 3pm. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     500+ Wigeon, 1000+ Teal, 250+ Pintails, 400+ Canada Geese, 300+ Greylags, a Mute Swan, 150 Shovelers, 90 Mallards, two Tufted Ducks, 500+ Black-headed Gulls, three Cormorants, 12 Long-tailed Tits, a Song Thrush, four Blackbirds, two Robins and two Redwings. (Shaun Curtis).

Ashleworth Ham     40 Greylags, 180 Canada Geese, 52 Mallards, 12 Pintails, ten Gadwalls, 34 Wigeon, 40 Black-headed Gulls, 160 Lapwings, 30 Starlings, two Pied Wagtails, 34 Fieldfares, two Chaffinches and three Long-tailed Tits. (Shaun Curtis).

Cobney Meadows     Eight Egyptian Geese yesterday, two Mute Swans, five Shelducks, six Herring Gulls and 100 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. (Shaun Curtis).

Westonbirt     At least five Crossbills around the arboretum this morning. Seen in both Silk Wood and the old arboretum. (Jon Haw).

Nailsworth     A Chiffchaff and three Siskins in the garden at Walkley Wood at 9am. (Jon Haw).
