WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN and a Great White Egret from Zeiss hide. A FIRECREST at Robbie Garnett hide again. A male Goldeneye and a Kingfisher on South Lake. (Mike Davis/Dot Jones).

Sharpness     A Whooper Swan flew high north over Sharpness towards Slimbridge at 10:22am. (Andy Jordan).

Saul Warth     Early afternoon high tide, 42 Avocets, 60 Shelducks, 34 Curlews, 34 Lapwings (22 S, 12 N), seven Dunlins, a Little Egret, a Great White Egret, nine Cormorants, a Kestrel, a Stonechat and a Rock Pipit. Four Cattle Egrets with 30 Common Gulls in the field opposite Fretherne end of Hock Ditch. (MK). Earlier 47 Cattle Egrets in the field by Hock Ditch. (Gordon Hodgson).
