WWT Slimbridge     The FIRECREST at midday between Martin Smith and Robbie Garnett hide, a fairly showy Cetti’s Warbler at the Martin Smith hide and on the Tack Piece four Bewick’s Swans, two White-fronted Geese, 17 Ruffs, three Snipe and seven Common Cranes (2 unringed). A Peregrine, a Marsh Harrier and a Red Kite mobile around the site. (Steve Brown/Oliver Paisey). 48 White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece today. (Ian Ralphs).

Forest of Dean     A female Brambling in a mixed flock in woods opposite Mary Rose gallery, the road from Coleford to Parkend. (Geoff Fawcett).

Stroud    At St Mary Magdalene Churchyard, Rodborough Hill a Mistle Thrush and Blackcap singing, a Goldcrest, a Redwing and a small flock of Greenfinches. (Gerard Doran).
